The Birkeland Current Gateway product was graciously hosted in the SimCom booth at the 2023 Consumer Electronics Show. SimCom is the supplier of the 7080G cellular module used in the Birkeland Current Gateway (www.birkelandcurrent.com/gateway-product-page). Birkeland Current was able to provide on-site demonstrations with various iHealth Labs home health devices and OneCare’s User Interface. Birkeland Current is partnered with OneCare and iHealth Labs in support of Remote Patient Monitoring clients. The
Gateway product is available to enable BLE to NBIoT or CAT-M1 cellular connectivity in the US and Canada on the ATT network. Developed in partnership with the National Science Foundation SBIR program, this application of the auto-pairing gateway product provides a simplified agnostic communications solution for seniors by removing the need for an App for home medical device measurements. Birkeland Current and OneCare combined forces at the Austin, TX 2022 Remote Patient Monitoring Conference and Technology Exposition to demonstrate a variety of products including the Birkeland Current Auto-pairing cellular Gateway, Birkeland Current’s ADL monitoring system Sovrinti, and OneCare’s behavior science based RPM solution.
